Jacquard Fabric is a type of cloth that includes an intricate pattern that has been woven into the warp on a specialised mechanical loom, instead of being printed on the actual surface.

This technology was invented by a French Weaver Named Joseph-Marie Jacquard in 1804, so the fabric was named after him.
